Potomac Aikikai is an Aikido School (Dojo) dedicated to the training and promotion of Aikido, a Japanese budo.
Our Dojo is a 501c(3) non-profit organization and has been located in Loudoun County, VA since 2007. We have members from many of the surrounding Washington, D.C. suburbs including Ashburn, Sterling, Herndon, Reston, Gainesville, Chantilly, Leesburg, Manassas and Potomac Falls. We provide instruction to Adults and Children.
We are a member dojo of the Capital Aikido Federation, through which our member ranks are recognized by the Aikikai Foundation, Tokyo and the International Aikido Federation.

Our Mission
The goal of the Potomac Aikikai, Inc. is to strive for the enrichment of lives and society through education in the Japanese martial art of Aikido; to spread and maintain the integrity of the martial art of Aikido as created, developed and exemplified by O Sensei, Morihei Ueshiba, and spread by the Aikikai Foundation, Aikido World Headquarters, Tokyo, Japan; and to develop and guide the practice of Aikido and its instruction in accordance with rules and regulations established by the Capital Aikikai Federation (CAF).
